HatHats Coffee Company

Based in the old Visitor Centre building HatHats Coffee Company is an award-winning coffee shop. They won startup of the year and Apprenticeship of the year at the 2017 KEiBA Awards. They were a finalist in the Kent Life Food & Drink Awards for best independent tearoom and coffee shop in 2018. HatHats Coffee Company were also a finalist in the prestigious Employer Of The Year category at the 2018 KEiBA Awards.

The coffee shop sells its own blend of freshly roasted coffee as well as Fine Teas and premium Hot Chocolate. You can also grab an ice-cold smoothie, ice cream, a selection of handmade cakes and freshly prepared crepes. The coffee shop is open 7 days per week 364 days per year (they close on Christmas Day). You can also purchase coach and minibus parking from the coffee shop for the main Reculver Country Park Car Park.

The King Ethelbert Inn

Owners Marc and Mandy welcome you to the King Ethelbert Inn! This friendly pub was taken over in 2004 by Marc and Mandy who built upon an already strong local customer base. It now attracts a large clientele from as far as London. Visitors can enjoy the sea air, a stroll around the Reculver Towers and brisk walk or cycle along the shoreline either before or after stopping at the pub for sustenance!

The pub has great views and is in the best location whilst being able to serve good food and beer at a great price! The pub has two log burners to provide a great atmosphere and warmth in the winter. It has plenty of outside space for the summer. Together with a seafood stall that’s open every weekend throughout the summer months if you fancy a change from the traditional pub menu.

The King Ethelbert is a traditional pub in the true sense of the word. It’s a meeting place for locals and is very community orientated. Cafe Reculver

Café Reculver is a family run café with a wide range of food options! They do anything from jacket potatoes, cold and warm sandwiches, burgers and breakfasts. Vegetarian options are also available.

This is the ideal place for great conversation from the always friendly owners who strive to put a smile on your face. It’s a fantastic location off the seafront, overlooking the wonderful and historic Reculver Towers.
